The machine allows you to exercise in a smooth, natural, low-impact way, with ergonomic, moving handlebars designed to deliver a full-body workout. Eight preset programs and 16 resistance levels help you tailor your workouts to your fitness goals–and they offer enough variety to keep you challenged and prevent plateauing. Warm-up and cool-down periods are built into the programs.
Touch and telemetry heart rate monitoring with Smart Rate instantly analyzes your heart rate when you enter your age and weight. The Smart Rate technology helps you stay in your fat burn, cardio, or peak target zone for a more efficient cardio and weight-loss workout. The elliptical trainer’s LCD display also shows you calories burned, distance traveled, strides per minutes, and workout time. The convenient tap control provides an audible click when you press a key.
Ergonomic, moving handlebars let you tone and condition your entire body while you maintain a comfortable posture and proper technique. The patented, manually adjustable CrossRamp feature offers three positions–high, medium, and low–allowing you to target specific muscles or all major lower-body muscle groups by adjusting the angle. The ramp is made of welded steel and covered with a black powder coat finish. Precor’s patented, low-impact EFX motion is smooth and natural, providing a low rate of perceived exertion to make your workouts more comfortable, even when you’re working out strenuously. This patented motion allows your heels to remain in contact with foot pedals, reducing muscle and tendon stress. Drink and accessory holders are conveniently located and ideal for portable music players. The EFX 5.23 measures 76 inches long by 62 inches high by 29 inches wide and weighs 183 pounds.
